**Overview**

Prepare work areas and equipment. Provide general assistance in staging, labelling and testing of packaging components and artwork and perform related administrative tasks

**Responsibilities**

**Planning and Procedures**
- Execute production activities within established policies, practices and guidelines, as well as established quality and safety standards
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to achieve work objectives and to maintain relationships
- Communicate with employees and management, to assist and convey information

**Packaging Testing**
- Ensure packaging is staged for sampling and testing, in line with requirements
- Label packaging components after release according to SOPs
- Perform dimensional testing such as measurements of components
- Check that Artwork is in line with specifications and artwork file
- Complete labelling as per SOP

**Operational Support**
- Prepare equipment, tools, and work area according to SOPs and cleaning checklist
- Adhere to cleaning schedule
- Ensure glassware is clean and adequate for analysis
- Ensure housekeeping of laboratory areas and keep audit ready at all times
- Ensure cleaning tools are maintained and in working order, and stored correctly
- Perform and document process and equipment checks according to SOP and specification

**Reporting and record-keeping**
- Provide information for completion of reports
- Complete and consolidate standard documents
- Maintain and update records and systems as required

**Skills Required**:
**Background/experience**
- Post Matric Qualification with 0-1 years’ related experience
- Manufacturing experience advantageous

**Specific job skills**
- Basic technical knowledge of Pharmaceutical production processes, procedures, systems and equipment
- Knowledge and awareness of chemicals use in laboratory environment
- Basic understanding of Pharmaceutical standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to use cleaning equipment
