A logistics company in Hammarsdale, KZN is seeking a technical fleet officer to look after the management, compliance and maintenance of our truck fleet. **Tanker maintenance experience** and a **diesel mechanic qualification** are highly advantageous.

Duties will include but are not limited to learning and assisting with following:

- Issue job cards to Diesel Mechanic for work needed to be completed
- Capture all vehicle kilometres received from Fleet Controllers
- Submit purchase order requests in respect of breakdowns
- Arrange with Fleet Controllers prior to make BVO’s available for shunting
- Plan bookings for Servicing, COF’s, Dekra, SLP’s and break test
- Source suppliers to attend breakdowns
- Book vehicles for servicing with suppliers
- Update vehicle files and spreadsheets
- Submit service schedules to Fleet Controllers for planning
- Maintain a stock register and ensure that stock levels are adequately maintained
- Vehicle inspections
- Update Complyworks
- Maintain Tools Inventory and compliance, i.e. load test, calibration
- Represent the company at audits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mechanic / Engineering: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers License (required)
- Diesel Mechanic qualification (preferred)
