Our client is a leading player in the dark kitchen industry, committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers through our innovative virtual kitchen concepts. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dark Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage teams of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional food quality.
- Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and uphold food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu consistency and ensure that all dishes meet our high-quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage vendor relationships to support uninterrupted kitchen operations.
- Uphold strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including HACCP and other relevant guidelines, to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Order coordination and order Software management
- Financial Management

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A Tertiary qualification in Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage Management or similar
- A minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in a similar role within the food service industry, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and culinary best practices.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse team to achieve operational excellence and foster a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and supply chain logistics to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A results-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Must reside in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town
