Education &
Experience Required: - Legal Qualification (LLB; LLM; etc.) - Post graduate qualification in Management (MAP, PDM, MBA, etc.) - Specific Experience and other Qualities: - 8-10 years’ experience in Senior Management - 8-10 years’ experience in Strategic and Decision Making. - 4-6 years’ experience in Risk Management - 4-6 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing - MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at an advanced level. - Working knowledge of SAP - Computer literacy Advantageous: - Engineering Qualification (N.Dip; B.Tech; B.Sc; etc.)
Tasks &
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the E+H group CSR policies within the entity - Implementing the corporate social responsibility strategy within the entity. - Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, and other industry groups and/or associations - Ensuring that the corporate policies are aligned/ comply to local legal and commercial policies - Creating opportunities for the training of external trainees within the local entity. o Ensuring the entity has a training Academy accreditation o Ensuring that the ECSA registration process for the entity is adhered to annually - Ensuring the entity compliance to the Corporate Social Responsibility targets (Ecovadis etc.): o Creation, submission, and further development of reporting structures for the data o Implement the corporate CSR projects in the local entity o Give input into the corporate and local sustainability reports o Ensure that the required data is correct and effectively collected. - Facilitate CSR audits internal and external (3rd parties) when requested
- Ensuring that the E+H CSR topic is communicated to customers and partners - Implementation of the E+H “water challenge” for the entity Compliance & Governance - Implement and manage the corporate legal compliance program aligned to the E+H Code of Conduct - Ensuring that the entity Reps and partners are aligned to the above - Advise the management on the entity’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports. - Resolve and action audit discoveries and compliance violations. - Conduct annual entity compliance risk assessments. - Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes. - Maintain and control of company information in accordance with private information laws (POPI; GDPR; etc.) - Keep up to date with developments on governance within the region. - Responsible for entity governance including meeting support, compiling agendas, tracking actions and decisions, and managing the process for producing entity corporate governance documents. - Provide effective leadership to the entity to ensure that team members are clear about their objectives, expected standards of performance, are motivated and receive appropriate training to provide effective support to business areas. - BBBEE o Audits on suppliers and partners compliance o Policy creation and adoption within the local entity o Ensure entity compliance for social investments required on projects etc. - Ensuring the local creation and adoption of entity policies - Payments process control and approval - Conduct legal audits to ensure compliance to local legal requirements o Ensure legal conditions are met for new legislature passed. Contract Review and Control - Operations (internally focussed) o Local supplier contract drafting and review. o Supplier audits on conduct, performance, and compliance (incl. BBEEE certificates) o Develop, implement, and manage enterprise development for B-BBEE purposes. o Building and premises lease contract review and control. o Representatives’ contract review and status updates - Provide training to entity on contract clauses how to negotiate these - Business (externally focussed) o All customer contract reviews, negotiation, and clarification. o Develop local contract conditions in-line with corporate guidelines. o Develop, maintain, and control non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understandings, joint ventures for 3rd parties etc.
