The South African Bone Marrow Registry, a non-profit organisation, seeks to appoint a full-time donor recruitment officer for the Cape Town Office.

**Key responsibilities and duties**:
**Application administration**:
Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Medical condition follow-ups

**vents assistance**:
Setting up and planning together with Head of Donor Recruitment and Donor Recruitment Team.
Attending events and making sure setup with small and major events are in line with expectations.
Excellent execution of events.
100% attendance of all events weekday and or weekends

**roviding administrative support for donor recruitment**:
Assistance with dispatching all local kits to depots or courier and then back to CPT office
Assistance with making calls to potential donors for submission of health questionnaires, courier details, depot appointments and collections
Office adherence (100% compliant with neatness and professionalism) and safety adherence and compliance.
Ensuring privacy and basic governance with the office requirements and with clients
Serve as a public and brand ambassador, representing SABMR in a professional manner.
Assist with recruitment initiatives aimed at recruiting stem cell donors and financial sponsors.
Assist and manage assigned donor recruitment, fundraising drives and campaigns/events.
Implement plans to develop, maintain and build a donor stakeholder database. Make sales calls to establish new opportunities.

**ducation**:
**Minimum**: diploma or bachelor’s degree in ‘business operations/administration, medical field, law, communications, social sciences, marketing or similar.

**xperience**:
**Essential**: Minimum two years’ minimum experience within the following working sectors, medical, marketing, public relations, retail and communications. Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

**kills**:
Strong business acumen and target driven.
Must have a valid drivers licence and own vehicle.
Fully vaccinated.
