**MAIN **PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION**

Client based in Burgesfort seeking mining staff

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum**
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably a BSc) in information Tecchnology or computer science
- Masters Degree (preferably a MSc) in information Technology or computer science advantagous
- Certificate in 5G mining/ Digital mining operations compulsary
- Any relevant additional certification (compTIA Network+, compTIA security + etc) advantagous
- CISCO CCNA/ HAUAWEI ICT certifiactes highly advantagous
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minumum 8 years’ experience as ICT System Analyst in rock hard gold/ platinum mining operations,

IT superintendent/ Manager, or a similar position
- Minimum 5 years’ practical experience with IoT system development on a 5G-enabled mining

operation

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- English: Fully Proficient
- Mandarin: Fully Proficient (preferred)
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- 5G enabled mining operations, utilization of IoT systems in digital mining operations.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems, networks, and software include administrative and end user knowledge’.
- Diverse knowledge of computer and sever hardware.
- Excellent knowledge of security and data privacy principles
- Expertise in IT tools and concepts such as, operating systems and internet protocol sites
- Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations’
- Extensive knowledge working with Microsoft Office Programme
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel
- Strong attention to detail competent vocabulary
- Good commination and report-writing skills
- Capable of assisting/guiding employees who do not have extensive knowledge and experience in computer systems
