**Introduction**:
Our client has a national footprint that specialises in the innovative operation and management methods of plants on behalf of Industrial users. They require the expertise of a Workshop Manager within a steel fabrication environment.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Must have a ND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Boilermaker Red Seal will be advantageous.
- Experience within a steel fabrication workshop.
- Experience in welding, boilermaking, guillotines, etc.
- Must have at least 10 years experience managing a workshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good Leadership qualities.
- Strong character with good people skills.
- Responsible and accountable.
- People motivator.
- Lead by example.
- Good planning skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring product quality.
- Assigning tasks to workers.
- Coordinating resources.
- Ordering supplies.
- Advising on key projects.
- Manage entire workshop staff and meet production deadlines.
- Optimize and coordinating resources available to achieve high level of productivity and output at all times.
