The main purpose of this position is to provide managerial leadership and strategic direction to the company Head Office Security function.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Manage the performance and development of team members.
- Prioritise work and manage resource utilisation.
- Oversee the management of the Head Office security teams in the execution of day-to-day security services to the company.
- Oversee the compliance and implementation of policies, procedures and legislative requirements within the function.
- Manage the planning and implementation of special security events held for the Head Office facility.
- Analyse and escalate management information to the manager for decision-making.
- Manage the provision of security resources in support of the Unit Head: Physical Security Operations function.
- Oversee the management of the Fit for Deployment programme for Head Office operational security members and ensure compliance with inherent minimum job requirements.
- Implement Head Office risk and vulnerability assessment recommendations and communicate such to the Unit Head: Physical Security Operations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the mitigation of any risks related to Head Office security operations.
- Oversee the operational fitness of advanced and basic equipment for Head Office security personnel.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to enhance optimal functionality.
- Provide management information for the purposes of decision-making.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Security Management or an equivalent qualification;
- a minimum of eight years’ experience in a security operations environment with at least three years’ in a managerial role; and
- solid knowledge of security management
