**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Effective management of the financial performance Revenue Growth.
- Organic Growth achieved against budget Gross Margin Improvement.
- Direct Labour control / % improvement.
- Direct Other cost reduction / % improvement
- Profitability against budget Manage the department’s cash flow.
- Debtors’ management / reduction.
- Capex spent vs. budget Effective management of operations Customer Focus.
- Retention and customer satisfaction ratings Quality of Service.
- Quality Audit rating, correction plan in place and implemented.
- Conformance with legal, company standards and requirements for tactical/riot/strike/events services.
- Proposals in place and signed Shared Best Practice.
- Adhere to the Thorburn Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Effectively and efficiently work under tight deadlines.
- Manage multiple priorities utilizing strong time management and project tracking skills.
- Work collaboratively with diverse, multi-location teams in a fast-paced environment.
- South African security and events legislation.
- Operational Policy and procedures.
- HR Policy and procedures.
- Health and Safety legislation

**Qualifications**:

- RIOT/Tactical/Strike/Events management qualification or equivalent.
- PSIRA Grade A Qualified.
- SAMTRAC qualification would be preferable.
- Computer proficient in MS office package.
- SA Drivers Licence.
- Business purpose Firearm Competency
