Senior Machinist

We seek an experienced and skilled Machinist to join our team in Witbank. This role combines hands-on machining work with leadership responsibilities, offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various machining equipment to produce high-quality components
- Lead and manage a team of 5 semi-skilled machinists, welders, and fitters
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across our range of services
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes
- Contribute to industrial equipment repair projects as needed

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-years of post-qualification experience as a Machinist
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using various machining tools and equipment
- Familiarity with conventional and CNC machining processes
- Proficiency in Afrikaans language
