**Receiving Supervisor**

Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Ysterplaat/Northgate Business Park

**Our Ysterplaat Receiving Department is currently looking for a vibrant, honest, reliable, and motivated individual to join their team.**

**Purpose**:

- Being responsible for receiving, storing, picking and assembling, packing material for production
- Maintaining accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring adherence to R638 regulation for food handlers
- Taking ownership regarding organizing and general housekeeping of stock in the receiving/ deck warehouse and display unit
- Processing of Syspro transactions
- Being accountable for all receiving/inbound deliveries
- Being responsible for receiving, storing, picking and assembling, packing material for production
- Responsible for offloading pallets from trucks
- Ensuring that all stock is stored correctly and rotated accordingly: first in first out (FIFO)/First expire first out (FEFO)
- Maintaining accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
- Performing Daily/Weekly/Monthly stock counts as scheduled and per Libstar policy - on and off-site storage
- Reporting to manufacturing/production manager/ procurement manager on a regular basis regarding the need/demand of items so that the future orders could be placed accordingly
- Responsible for cycle counts
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all receiving
- Completing of weekly / monthly receiving reports
- Reporting supplier performances (any Non-Conformances)
- Monitoring stock accuracy and reporting variances to manufacturing/production and procurement manager
- Ensuring the receiving of all goods returned from customers
- Performing the function of a General Packer if needed
- Assisting with any additional ad-hoc and miscellaneous duties, project duties or company events when required and as prescribed by Management.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of 2-3 year’s FMCG/Food environment experience in a similar position
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Receiving Supervisor or in a similar position
- Forklift license would be advantageous
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Must be computer literate in MS Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook (Pastel/Syspro will be advantageous/Pivot tables and V-Look Ups)
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Good professional written & verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Good physical condition
- Ability to deliver faultless work
- Excellent communication, problem solving & time management skills
- Quality, safety & results focussed.
- Self-motivated
