You have at least three years of experience writing technical documentation. You are familiar with the software development life cycle for Agile teams and can work with software developers, testers, and product owners to generate, edit, and review technical documentation. You have excellent writing skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in technology.

**The Role**

As a technical writer at Entersekt, you will be responsible for generating, reviewing, editing, and publishing the technical documentation for our products. As a writer who likes tech, or a techie who likes to write, you will drive the evolution of Entersekt's technical documentation, ensuring clear, correct, and easy-to-use copy.

Forming part of the Technical Communications team, you will work closely with various development teams to ensure that our software is accompanied by clear and accurate technical documentation. You will take ownership of our documentation portals and ensure that they are updated with each software release.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with various stakeholders to write, review, and publish technical documentation, such as administration guides, API (Application Programming Interface) reference material, and SDK (Software Development Kit) documentation.
- Identify and address content gaps, and assess incoming suggestions and corrections.
- Maintain and continuously improve our documentation portals, including layout, design, user experience, imagery, and build processes.
- Contribute to the improvement of team processes and style guides.
- Review technical materials written by other stakeholders, and suggest and implement improvements.
- Improve Entersekt's information model, and ensure that documentation created fits the model.
- Analyze developments in our software to determine the need for new or updated documentation.
- Create and update UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least three years' experience in writing, reviewing, and publishing software documentation.
- Experience managing documentation as code.
- Experience producing and maintaining SDK and API documentation.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
- Experience using Markdown, CSS, and static site generators.
- Experience using task-tracking software such as Jira.
- Experience using wikis such as Confluence.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- An understanding of what makes documentation clear and effective.
- An understanding of Agile practices and information management.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
