Our client is a dynamic fruit marketing company that focuses on the marketing and export of high-quality fruit to international markets. An exciting career opportunity currently exists for a **Junior Logistics Coordinator** at their Paarl office in the Western Cape.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective and efficient coordination of fruit transports (including trucks, containers and ports)
- Maintain accurate and correct logístical documentation at all times
- Ensure correct management of fruit stock at the respective cold rooms, producers, warehouses and ports
- Maintain effective and efficient communication with all role players to ensure challenges are addressed timeously
- Provide effective assistance and support to the Head of Logistics

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom / Logistics)
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience (preferably in the fruit industry)
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships and above average communication skills at all levels (Afrikaans and English)
- Knowledge of local and international transport / logistics regulations would be advantageous
- Above average computer literacy (Dipar, Prophet, and logistics software system knowledge will be advantageous)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Energetic, hardworking, self-driven individual with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks accurately and complete it within the relevant timeline
- Willingness to work longer hours in peak season
- Driver’s licence and own transport
