Do you have 2 - 5 years’ work experience after completion of your Fitting and Turning Trade Test qualification (Red Seal)?

In this role you will complete Fabrication Requests and must be able to properly use cutting tools, welding tools and other.

Installation experience of machine parts, water systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and platforms and structures are essential.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Qualified Fitting and Turning Trade Test Certificate
- 2-5 Years after trade experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Complete all Fabrication Request feedback paperwork and major job requirements.
- Compile SOW and Bill of Materials for small fabrication request
- Complete all TSIS and H&S paperwork.
- Ensure all parts comply with procurement register and data pack - report any deviations.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are available to execute tasks and plan a working procedure for the task
- Material cutting - Proper use of bandsaw, cut-off saw, cutting torch, grinder, etc.
- Mig welding: for general structures, barriers, base frames, etc.
- Tig welding: for FDB baskets, soaking pipes, manifolds, tanks, etc.
- Arc welding: for onsite welding, area that bigger machine cannot access.
- Proper use of hand drill, magbase drill, machining machine, etc.
- Finishing/Grinding - remove all shape edgers, burs, welding spatter, etc. in preparation for the next phase
