An opportunity has arisen at ITL CPT for an experienced Fitter & Turner, a tradesperson who installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Routine, breakdown and preventative on-site maintenance
- Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion.
- Welding, grinding, machining, lathe and milling work, able to read engineering drawings are essential requirements
- Machine assembly, building
- Assist with tool-related problems
- Help with troubleshooting
- Commitment to work overtime when required
- Maintain safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Proficient in mechanical fitting and turning

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate is compulsory
- Minimum N3 Engineering Studies qualification
- Minimum 3 years post trade experience
- Fitter and Turner Red Seal Trade Certificate
- Experience in the Textile Manufacturing industries would be advantageous
- Energetic, proactive, and ability to work under pressure
- A valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R32,000.00 per month
