**INTERNAL JOB ADVERTISEMENT: FITTER & TURNER / TECHNICIANPRIMARY**

First Cut (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitter and Turner/Machine Installation Technician in our Cape Town branch. The incumbent will use specialised tools to construct, manufacture and assemble industrial tools and machine components, usually from metal. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machines.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Proficiency in Preventative Maintenance Routines.
- Competence in Welding, Milling, and Turning.
- Familiarity with Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
- Advance Electrical Skills.
- Aptitude in Fault Finding and Diagnosis.
- Machine installations, Commissioning, repairs, maintenance, and servicing.
- Should be able to work on Bandsaw machines (CNC, Manual, Semi-auto and fully automated).
- Should be able to work on circular saw machines (CNC, Manual, Semi-auto and fully automated).
- Should be able to work on bending machines (CNC, Manual, Semi-auto and fully automated).

**DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION**
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- Fitter and Turner Trade Test Certificate.
- Electrical Experience will be advantageous.
- Machine installations background.
- At least 2 years of experience as a qualified Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing setting.
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.

**OTHER SKILLS**
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
- Problem-solver, patient, pleasant and enthusiastic.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Be physically fit to lift heavy goods.
- Good Customer Service Skills.
