Plennegy: Payroll Specialist

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Processes routine, transactional financial information related to payroll functions (i.e.: wage garnishments and payroll deductions).
- Prepares payroll input into the computer system and assists in preparing payroll checks
- Organizes and maintains payroll records (i.e.: leave, tax, UIF, medical aid, etc.)
- Completes basic review of data. Reviews and corrects personnel and payroll-related documents generated by HR Consultants and/or managers
- Recognises and maintains the need for confidentiality in all situations related to payroll.
- Prepares all confidential and other salaries for payment from appropriate records covering absences, pay rates and allowances less deductions including PAYE, UIF, medical aid, and pension.
- Prepares salary slips.
- Reconciles payroll.
- Prepares wage sheets for payments, by calculating amounts due from appropriate time records, pay rates, and allowances less deduction.
- Perform any other essential duties as assigned.
