Enrolled Nursing Assistant
**Requirements**:
- Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant
- Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted healthcare
practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a team and deal tactfully with the public
- Effective interpersonal as well as oral and written communication
skills.
- Basic Computer Literacy
Key Performance Areas
- Provide support with the provision of treatment for communicable
and infectious diseases
- Implement First Aid procedures
- Assist with pregnancy and other tests (e.g. urine test)
- Assist with the admission of clients
- Direct clients to relevant service points
- Assist with domiciliary visits/recalls
- Collect, label and dispatch specimens
- Receive and file laboratory results
- Counsel clients with regard to HIV/TB/TOP and reproductive
health
- Assist with quality assurance programmes and health promotion
programmes
- Assist with the collection and collation of health information data
on clinical activities.
