**Qualifications and experience**:

- Bachelor of Information Science (BIS) or Advanced diploma (NQ 7) in Information Management/Information Science/Knowledge Management.
- 3 years experience in Information Management/Knowledge Management/similar environment of which 2-3 years at functional specialist level.

**Duties**:

- Develop a Knowledge Management strategy and Implementation Plan.
- Develop a comprehensive mapping of Knowledge Management Information Sources, including processes.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of Knowledge Management Systems.
- Create an approach for guiding an ongoing analysis needed to address observed KM gaps for identifying opportunities for innovation, processes, procedures and making policy adjustments.
- Create solutions for Knowledge Management initiatives.
- Capture and codify tacit knowledge.
- Collect and structure information collected from various departments (shared experiences and insights)
- Digitize information for easy access.
- Encrypting information so that it cannot be manipulated or destroyed.
- Encourage culture of knowledge sharing and collaborate workflow among departments.
- Provide relevant coaching, training and support to Knowledge Management culture.

Salary on offer: R786 720.00 per anum
