We are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of Operations in the dynamic and fast-paced field of manufacturing. As the Deputy Director of Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operational efficiency, ensuring quality production, and contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement production plans.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of rigorous quality control processes.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards for production.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and efficient procurement of raw materials.
- Assist in managing relationships with suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain.
- Provide support in leading and motivating the operations team.
- Assist in developing training programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and sales, to align operational strategies.
- Collaborate with teams to address production challenges and enhance overall efficiency.
- Assist in managing garment inventory, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing excess inventory.
- Implement systems for tracking inventory turnover and managing stockouts.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the safety team to create a secure working environment for all personnel

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, quality control, and supply chain coordination.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated success in optimizing production processes and achieving cost savings.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and ERP systems used inr manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the relevant industry.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
