**Main job purpose**

To coordinate the day to day performance of the laminates team by supporting both production and distribution team leaders in ensuring that set targets are reached and all deliveries are on time. Coordinate and support improvements on team performance which is measured by the amount of output relative to the expected and planned output, this includes production losses, quality performance, safety and development of the employees.

**Main Objective**

Accountable for the day to day performance by driving the achievement of business plan outputs to achieve all the sets targets.

Reconcile physical production and the planned production on SAP, both standard and non-standard materials to ensure timeous deliveries to the customer.

Liaison with planning and sales on any production or finished goods related matters to ensure that the supply chain response is efficient in meeting requirements.

Monitor and drive the reduction of raw glass and finished goods losses to minimise production losses.

Supervise and oversee the PPE issuing.

Continuously improve health and safety measures and compliance to the OHS act by reviewing and adding to current standard operating procedures and risk assessments in order to ensure a safe working environment taking safety hazards and potential risks into account.

Oversee and confirm vinyl weekly stock takes with the RMC’s to ensure availability and accuracy of stock.

Provide support on the identified development needs for the team to create a cross functional work team.

Oversee the maintenance on plant equipment and machines, working with the VA engineering team leader.

**Qualification(s)**
- Grade 12
- National Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Operations Management or Supply Chain

- Health & Safety relevant legislation

- 3 - 5 Years management experience in a distribution / manufacturing environment
