We are a national manufacturing company of custom kitchens, with our Head office based in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and technically minded Woodworking Machine Technician graduate who has mechanical knowledge with at least 4 years of experience.

The technician will ensure that all machines are working efficiently as was designed to meet the customers’ needs and expectations.

**These includes**:

- Installation and commissioning of machines to conform to design standard specifications.
- Perform machine diagnostics.
- Servicing and maintenance of machines.
- Provide conceptual & strategic solutions to solve problems.
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding identified existing and potential machine problems.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Semi-Skilled Fitter in a manufacturing environment.
- A technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Technicians must have very good communication skills.
- Fluent in the English language.
- Willing to travel across South Africa continent for work purposes.
- Have a valid South African driver’s license
- Willing to work odd/flexible hours to attend to machine breakdown.

**Job Type**: Part-time

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
