Position Description:
**The opportunity**:
The **Talent Management Specialist** is a key ambassador of the TFG employer brand through designing talent management strategies that attract and source high caliber talent, aligned with business and brand strategies as well as opportunities identified through the talent capability and talent planning processes.

This role will manage all aspects of people planning to include recruitment of new employees, employee on - boarding and integration, talent succession planning, internal talent marketplace and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- End to end process design for the attraction and tracking of new employees
- Engagement with external stakeholders (agencies, higher educational institutions)
- Accountable for the on boarding process design for all business units across stores, distribution centres, and contact centres and head office
- End to end youth pipeline management process design (Youth recruitment, Development partnerships, Bursaries)
- Build visibility of the competence gap between the future fit workplace and current workforce and address the skills gap with the Talent Development and Skills specialists
- Accountability for a robust and regular high potential employee identification and retention process.
- Accountability for executive succession planning with a key focus on transformation at the Senior management occupational level
- Design and deliver a suitable platform for an integrated one view of employee (Employee profiles)
- End to end design and incubation of the TFG ITM (internal talent marketplace) - (career pathing, project opportunities and secondments, technology enabled matching of skill and preference to vacancies)
- Accountable for compliance related polices and processes relating to talent management (pre-employment verification, recruitment, on boarding, succession planning)

**Requirements**:

- HR Related Degree or equivalent working experience
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in Talent Management (recruitment, talent planning, and succession planning)
- Knowledge of People Management processes, Talent Planning, Recruitment, On Boarding and HR Systems
- High service delivery and performance mindset
- Keen judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to take strategic thinking into a workable solution
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent design and systems thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
