Entry Level Administrator with Excell Experience

We are in need of a young and ambitions Imports Assistant to join our Imports and Exports department to provide administrative support and assist the team in the execution of their duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Updating stock levels
- Keeping the order sheet up to date, stock sailing, stock received and current units in stock
- Shipment costings sheet and costings in IQ
- Daily tracking and communicating of incoming shipments to all relevant management and all warehouses.
- Sending stock reports to Management with ETA’s
- Communication with agents
- Monitoring of vessels and delays
- Assist with the clearing instruction to confirm that all information received from shipper and consignee is accurate before submitted for customs clearance - strict rule that is adhere to and if not, huge penalties that could follow both the clearing agent and the importer / consignee
Preparing orders and placing orders at Suppliers
Monday and Friday - updating stock levels on all supplier order forms
Making sure that all incoming shipments and costing that has been done and updated on the order form
- Signing off orders - once an order comes in, he must prepare the order form, make sure it’s not over stock and sign off
Daily Task
- Tracking of incoming shipments and communicating to all warehouses
- Communicate to our agents when delivery will happen
- Monitoring of vessels and delays, communicate to manager - for financial planning purposes
Preparing of costing sheets on Excel and on IQ
Making sure there is no errors on costing Excel sheet and on IQ
Updating the ROE once the payment has been made on IQ and costing sheet
Update incoming files when payment has been made
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication and administration skills
Demonstrate the ability for higher thinking
Good knowledge and understanding of the English language
MUST have at least 1 - 2 years of Administrative experience
MUST have Excellent Excel knowledge / skills
Must reside near the Roodepoort area.
Must have own reliable transport
Education and Experience:
- Matric/Grade 12
Kindly note that this is a entry level position and no formal qualifications is required
This position offers an basic salary of R 8000.00 per month with company benefits
