**About the Position**

The primary purpose of this position is to promote productivity-related programmes and provide training and consulting services to existing and new clients that results in improved productivity in organisations.
- Type: Contract Senior position (FTC)
- Programme: Competitiveness Improvement Services
- Kwazulu Natal - Durban - (Region 2 - CIS)
- Salary: Up to R41 694.58 pm cost to company

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Min: Tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Commerce which must include financial management
- Ideal: Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Engineering and Business Management
- Min: At least 3 years operational business-related experience (excluding experiential training period/ trainee experience)
- Ideal: Business Process performance improvement experience in either a manufacturing or consulting environment

**TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES**:

- Identify training needs within client organisations, make recommendations and set objectives
- Train client company employees in productivity improvement programmes
- Train client company supervisors in supervisory and productivity programmes
- Train SMME owners/managers in business skills and productivity improvement programmes
- Liaise and communicate with client company managers throughout the training cycle
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training through post course evaluations
- Maintain contact with existing clients
- Promote Productivity SA supported programmes
- Assist in the analysis of the business operations of client companies in order to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Assist in Developing recommendations and proposals to achieve business performance improvement.
- Assist in implementation of business performance improvement projects at client companies
- Contribute to the achievement of the region and organisation’s business plan objectives
- Stay in touch with the latest thinking on productivity and related issues
