Senior Security Operations Lead

**ROLE PURPOSE**

The
**Senior Security Operations Lead **is responsible for customers’ SLA management and service delivery by all Security Delivery Teams across all Nexio customers. The Senior Security Operations Lead plans, coordinates, and directs all daily operational activities of the Security Services Teams show in the organogram.

The Senior Security Operations Lead is responsible for the support of all solutions and resources internal/external to Nexio direct customers.

The Senior Security Operations Lead works closely with the EHOD: Security, as well as other Business Units in managing and operating Security Operations for all Security Solutions and Services in the Nexio Security Portfolio. This position provides the operational and tactical leadership, and day-to-day management of the Security Service Delivery across all Nexio customers.

**ROLE REQUIREMENT**
- Primarily involved in the operational and tactical leadership, and day-to-day management of the Security Service Delivery in Nexio customers
- Senior level within the Security Operations in the Security business unit
- Sets functional strategy and significantly influences business unit service delivery operational excellence and delivery profitability.
- Direct impact on business performance
- Provides leadership to managers and/or professional staff in the Security Service Delivery team
- Provides technical guidance to employees in the Security Service Delivery team
- Provides coaching, mentoring and gives regular, comprehensive, and constructive feedback to team and conducts their performance appraisals.
- Proactively seeks feedback from team members and deals constructively with any criticism.
- Adjusts management style to get the best from the individuals within the team
- Delegates work to team members considering their capacity, level of skill and exposure to different types of work and complexity; provides clear instructions and direction, with reasonable deadlines.
- Sets expectations and manages and monitors performance of the Delivery Scorecards across Customers.
- Assume responsibility for the following:

- Manage the Delivery profitability (“Managed, Operate”) in the Security BU
- Leading practices, operational processes and procedures to be followed in the Security Service Delivery team
- Resourcing of the Security Service Delivery team
- Security Service Delivery Team that can operate across customers and across Solutions and Services on a multi-skilled, shared Services basis
- Centre of excellence approach in the Security Service Delivery Team in support of multi-skilled, shared Services across customers
- Adopt quality management in actual Delivery methodology
- Provides technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to employees in the Security Service Delivery team
- Formalise the repeatable delivery methodology with operating procedures and playbooks for Security Services
- Operational plans which execute on service delivery operational excellence and delivery profitability across customers
- Retention and learning and growth of the top talent in the cyber security team
- Tailored learning paths and Certification focused on the priority Service Lines
