One of the largest independent developers of shared communications infrastructure is currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Manager to assist with establishing and implementing policies, processes and procedures, drafting, reviewing and interpreting contracts and assisting with all required corporate/ commercial matters, as well as advising on all disputes (litigation and alternative dispute resolution) while maintaining a broad knowledge of the legal issues and operating requirements of the company.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- effectively support and drive achievement of the company's strategic goals and plans.
- Render high quality legal advice across the organization, including providing legal inputs to the formulation of the company’s business and investment decisions as well as interpreting laws, regulations, policies and directives as they affect the company’s operations.
- Work closely with leadership of key internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Technical, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure that effective dispute resolution, contract management and legal opinion management policies, processes and procedures are developed, implemented, and continuously enhanced to protect the company brand.
- Promote a culture of ongoing collaboration across Legal and other functions which protects the company’s interests in contracting with suppliers, vendors and third parties

**Experience & Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB). Relevant postgraduate/ professional qualification in law will be an advantage. Experience in property law would be advantageous.
- Admitted as an Attorney in South Africa.
- 8-10 years post article experience, dealings at senior management level providing legal advisory to organizations’ management would be an added advantage.
