Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary strategic legal advisor to senior leadership on complex commercial, regulatory, IP, and technology-related matters.
- Draft, review, and expertly negotiate high-stakes legal agreements, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and strict adherence to all relevant laws.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the business portfolio, focusing heavily on data privacy and technology licensing.
- Drive the continuous improvement and implementation of robust governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks across operational units.
- Manage crucial relationships with external regulatory bodies and external legal counsel, ensuring effective and efficient representation.
- Serve as an internal expert, building legal literacy and capability across the business through training, guidance, and the provision of practical compliance toolkits.
- Strengthen contract lifecycle management processes to enable more risk-aware and agile decision-making across all business units.
