Logistics Administrator

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To be responsible in its entirety for all Inbound Warehousing, Logistical and related Operational functions in the Johannesburg branch, including but not limited to the managing & optimization of the warehousing function, sourcing, buying, shipping, receiving, stock control, stock levels, food safety administration, reporting and to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction at all times.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure local purchasing is properly planned and executed to maintain optimum stock levels at all times
- Assist at all times as needed with international import planning and execution
- Ensure the required productivity, housekeeping and order levels are maintained daily
- All aspect of stockholding, accuracy, security, storage conditions, levels, systems, etc. to be properly managed, with a strict adherence to FIFO
- Resolve, report and record any offloading, system, staff, rejects etc. errors and problems immediately
- Ensure full compliance at all times with all Food Safety systems, Occupational health and safety regulations, ETQM and company policies.
- Responsible for food safety administration
- Monitoring of stock and ordering from factory when necessary
- Execute all internal stock transfers
- Arranging transport for anything sent from Johannesburg and negotiate the best price
- Monitoring of dead and slow moving stock and FIFO
- Running and capturing of stocktakes and cycle counts
- Processing of all supplier credits
**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Experience within the same role & warehousing environment will be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous
- Hard working

- Analytical and strong numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal, telephonic and written communication skills
- Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans or any other language)
**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
