UPD is looking to recruit a permanent Sales Representative required for Pharmacy (Link Pharmacy Group, Corporate and Independent Pharmacies) as well as Hospital (Life, Med clinic, Netcare and Independent Private Hospitals), Doctors, Veterinary and other key customers in Gauteng as well as Northwest.

**Job description**:
**Job Purpose**:
To build and maintain customer relationships, furnish information on product and services and actively promote the Company to increase sales and drive demand.
- **Job Objectives Is To**:

- Strive to achieve Link Own Brand Sales targets and DC regional
- Accurately compile various customer movement reports, weekly scorecard feedback, general information on customer queries/problems and competitor actions to track and monitor against set targets
- Promote and track compliance of individual Link members in accordance with the Link participation agreement to ensure compliance to agreed standards
- Identify new business opportunities for the organization by presenting and selling the benefits to current and potential customers.
- Proactivity identifying industry trends, competitive behavior and potential business risks in order to influence current business practice
- Ensure that customer complaints are attended to, expedited and resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Present and promote Pharmaceutical products in line with Supplier product promotions
- Actively build relationships with customers by furnishing them with information on products and services rendered
- Communicate, co-ordinate and assist with special company functions and promotions, i.e. conferences and seminars when required.

**Minimum requirements**:
**Education**:

- Essential: Matric
- Desirable: Sales and Marketing Diploma

**Job Related Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of Channels mentioned (Wholesale, Hospital and Pharmacy retail)
- Pharmaceutical Product knowledge
- Territory Management

**Job Related Skills**:

**Job Requirements / Experience**:

- 2 years experience in Sales and Marketing
- 2 years experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, supply and logistic
- Wholesaling and Retailing experience
- Knowledge of the channels mentioned
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle** (Essential)**
