**Job Summary Statement**:
We are looking for a highly skilled Server, Storage, and Database Services Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Server Administration, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and SQL. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing our server infrastructure, storage solutions, and database services to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work collaboratively with our ICT team to maintain and improve our ICT environment

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS (BENEFICIAL)**:

- ** **Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, CompTIA Server+) are a plus.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- ** **Strong expertise in managing storage solutions, such as SAN, NAS and Azure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including T-SQL and database maintenance.
- Experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Server Administration**
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage server hardware and software components, including virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V.
- Implement and maintain server security protocols and access controls.
- Monitor server performance, identify and address issues, and optimise server resources.

**Storage Administration**
- Administer and maintain storage systems, including SAN, NAS and Azure Cloud solutions.
- Monitor storage capacity, performance, and availability, and scale storage resources as needed.
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data.
- Ensure data integrity and implement data encryption and access control measures.

**Database Administration (SQL)**
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Perform database performance tuning, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Implement database security measures, including access controls and data encryption.
- Plan and execute database backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.

**System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)**
- Utilise SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by SCOM and SCCM alerts.

**Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of server, storage, and database configurations and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity, and security.

**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**:

- Proven experience in Microsoft Server Administration, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including T-SQL and database maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
