**Main purpose of the job**:

- To assist the Project Manager in overseeing implementation and monitoring of the fieldwork

**Location**:

- **Agincourt
- Bushbuckridge (Mpumalanga Province)**

**Key performance areas**:

- Assist the recruitment team with troubleshooting issues related to recruitment/ screening survey
- Ensure that the data from the screening survey is uploaded timeously and check that it is complete and available on the secure online platform
- Assist the assessments team to ensure that baseline and follow-up household surveys are conducted within the timeframe set by the Project Manager
- The document, report to the Data Specialist, and follow-up on any issues with the baseline and follow-up survey software/tablets
- Send a daily report of the number of baseline and follow-up surveys completed to the team in Johannesburg making payments for the economic rewards
- Assist in contact tracing participants who cannot be reached by their Peer Mentor
- Send all participants enrolled in the trial specified amounts of data at specified intervals
- Send all participants enrolled in the trial online surveys at specified intervals
- Attend weekly Field Team meetings in Agincourt and assist with troubleshooting field-related issues as they arise and where additional capacity is required

**Required minimum education and training**:

- **Honors Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Public Health related field**:

- **Must have a South African Driver’s license and be a confident driver**:

- **Must be able to start in April and work for the period 1st April - 30th June**:

- **Must be able to live and work in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga**:

- **Must have excellent computer literacy and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe**:

- **Must have high ethical standards and be familiar with Good Clinical Practice in research**:

- **Must be organized, efficient and pay attention to detail**:

- **Must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, take initiative and be a flexible and cooperative member of a team**
