The Quality & Accreditation Manager will work closely with CapaCiTi senior management to realise Schools’ accreditation plans. You will own the current and future accreditation plans for CapaCiTi as well be involved in the organisations optimisation of SETA and levy paying engagements, identification of opportunities as aligned with the organisations purpose, offerings, growth, and skills planning opportunities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Accreditation, Relationship Management and Contractual Delivery**
- Manages existing Professional and/or Accrediting body relationships to ensure requirements and expectations are exceeded.
- Liaises with external accreditation bodies to ensure an excellent working relationship is established and maintained to fully meet accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the contractual or accreditation requirements agreed with each Professional and Accrediting body and that contractual requirements are translated into operational delivery plans which are understood by all internal stakeholders.
- Instructs the team in a way that ensures that delivery aligns with contractual/accreditation agreement to successful delivery.
- Develops a meaningful relationship and partnership with CPS that optimises every opportunity and identifies new ones.
- Ensures programme development, and continuous improvement of CapaCiTi service offering.
- Ensure the organisation remains accredited with existing bodies, manages renewals and identifies new accreditation opportunities that will enhance the business offering.
- Engage with UVU Africa finance department around WSP/SD opportunities and benefits.
- Identifies/creates new opportunities with Professional and/or Accrediting bodies as aligned with the organisations business goals.
- Acts as a representative of CapaCiTi or UVU Africa at Professional and/or Accrediting body meetings.
- Ensures that own professional skills and knowledge of changes in accreditation and skills landscape is up to date.
**Project Management and Reporting**
- Understands potential risks, issues, or challenges with the accreditation in advance and uses their strong relationship with the CPS to negotiate and undertake mitigating actions.
- Ensures delivery of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements by working closely with the CapaCiTi delivery and project teams.
- Collates insight and reports for stakeholders on a monthly or quarterly basis (as required).
- Convenes and chairs monthly Steercoms, Stakeholder meetings and Quarterly reviews where relevant.
- Minutes, documents, and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensures full documents submitted to Professional and Accrediting bodies on time and accurately.
- Circulates appropriate documentation to colleagues.
- Manages collection and analysis of information and check answers the requirements of appropriate accreditation body.
- Makes judgement on what should be included in the submission documents - distilling information from the range of sources into a coherent picture that fits with the strategic plan of the organization.
- Writes, edits, and prepares draft submission documents and key supporting evidence.
- Edits content to ensure it reads as series of compelling quality focused statements.
- Takes full responsibility for the collation, preparation,and presentation of accurate qualitative and quantitative data to accrediting/professional bodies.
- Contributes to the budgetary planning process, identifying resources required to deliver the objectives and accreditation requirements.
- Reports weekly or bi-weekly updates on PoE readiness insofar as required to the Head of Career Education.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or Broad vocational experience, demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding relevant work/roles.
- SETA accreditation preferable.
