**Job Opportunity: Merchandiser (Male)**

**Full job description**:
Our busy convenient store is looking for a male merchandiser to join our team. As a merchandiser your main purpose is to maintain and monitor high quality stock on shelves and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ordering of items for certain departments.
- Implementing and upholding cleanliness standards and procedures.
- Keep shelves and immediate areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Adheres to company health and hygiene standards.
- Conducts inspection of perishable/frozen products in shelves.
- Conducts checks throughout the day for stock and replenishment; ensure that there are no empty shelves.
- Draws and places stock on shelves and ensures that the stock on shelves is in good condition.
- Identifies stock to be removed.
- Ensures that stock on shelves is accurately priced; reports any issues to relevant supervisor.
- Assist the team with stock take.
- Assist and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist customers with any queries and advise on products.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Must be of sober habits

**Experience**:
Minimum of 3 years of merchandising experience.
