**Your Role**:
As a valued member of our kitchen brigade, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality food, ensuring a smooth service, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency. From preparing fresh ingredients to grilling, frying, or crafting pizza masterpieces - you’ll be part of what keeps our customers coming back for more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining top-tier kitchen standards.
- Prepare Mise-en-place and set up your section before each service.
- Cook and present dishes to specification and at the correct temperature.
- Follow all company policies, food safety guidelines, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness across all back-of-house and prep areas.
- Monitor and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning correctly.
- Follow strict hygiene, health, and safety protocols - from fridge temps to fryer oil changes.

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in a busy kitchen, especially in pizza, grilling, or hot/cold food prep.
- Passionate about food, quality, and delivering great customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-focused environment.
- Familiar with FIFO, portion control, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong attention to detail.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 45 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Diep River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
