**Core Description**:
Accountable for the development and implementation of an integrated group wide assessment strategy to support Telkom's ability to attract, retain and develop top talent. Work with a team of assessment professionals to provide support to the wider business in the use of psychological and non-psychological assessments. Responsible for the Corporate Centre assessments, recruitment, and onboarding of new hires. Support the Corporate talent acquisition and talent management/ succession functions.

**Responsibilities**:
**ASSESSMENTS: 40%**
- Conceptualize, develop and implement an integrated Assessment strategy in support of the broader Talent Acquisition and Talent Management vision and strategic framework for the Group.
- Monitor and ensure the development and maintenance of Psychometric Assessment policies and procedures in compliance with the Labour Relations Act and the rules, regulations and best practices of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Undertake regular research and benchmarking to ensure the optimization, effectiveness and efficiency of all Assessment practices against best practices.
- Source, negotiate terms, and manage relationships with assessment service providers.
- Manage online assessment systems, setting up and managing assessment projects
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback for the Corporate Centre recruitment and succession management processes.

**RECRUITMENT AND ON-BOARDING: 35%**
- Support the Corporate Centre BU HRBP by leading internal and external recruitment, placement and on-boarding functions for the BU
- Monitor employment and workforce trends and leverage for BU talent sourcing and succession management initiatives.
- Assist with sourcing, negotiating terms, and managing relationships with service providers e.g. employment agencies and executive search firms.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of recruitment and onboarding policies and processes.
- Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of recruitment and onboarding systems.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding data management and reporting.
- Provide support to the BU SMEs and Corporate Centre employees on recruitment and onboarding processes and system queries.

**SUCCESSION MANAGEMENT: 25%**
- Support the overall Group talent management and succession planning function.
- Assist in providing training and support to Corporate Centre employees on talent mapping, succession and development planning processes.
- Assist in preparing talent review forum packs and facilitating talent review discussions within Corporate Centre.
- Support the BU HRBP with the Corporate Centre scarce skills, succession and career planning, development and management processes.
- Provide support to Corporate Centre employees on succession processes and system queries.
- Assist with talent and succession data management and reporting.

**Required Certification**:
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychologist, (preferably in the Industrial, Counselling or Clinical field) is required.

**Qualifications**:
Master's degree in Psychology (NQF level 9)

**Experience**:
5 years relevant experience is required.

Some of this experience must have been in the Human Resource field and in Assessments.

Experience in recruitment & selection and succession/ talent management is desired.

**Special Requirements**:
Must be registered as a Psychologist with the HPCSA.

**Comments**:

- Please note that the company is adopting a mandatory vaccination policy, which will affect employment conditions of all current and future employees.
- The Company adopted a hybrid operating model whereby employees will have two registered workplace locations, a official office-based location, which is in Centurion and a home-based office location. The incumbent will be required to work in the office based location for 3 days a week.
