This role is a unique opportunity to join at the **ground floor** of our journey. You will begin as a **Business Acquisition Associate**, sourcing and evaluating businesses for acquisition, and then transition into the **General Manager** role of the company we acquire by April 2026.

**The Role: Two Phases**

**Phase 1: Acquisition Associate (Jan - Apr 2026)**
- Source and evaluate acquisition across brokers, networks, and direct outreach.
- Build company profiles and run preliminary analysis (financials, risks, succession gaps).
- Support due diligence: gather documents, liaise with sellers, prepare reports.
- Present recommendations to founder.

**Phase 2: General Manager (Post-Acquisition, Apr 2026 onward)**
- Lead day-to-day operations of the acquired business (staff, suppliers, customers).
- Stabilize and grow profitability with a focus on efficiency and customer retention.
- Implement digital tools, automation, and process improvements.
- Report performance and progress monthly to the owner/board.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience: 1-4 years in consulting, finance, operations, or entrepreneurial roles.
- Skills: Excellent communicator; analytical, strong with financials and research; leadership potential.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, hungry to grow, able to adjust to new conditions or circumstances.
- Values: Integrity, resilience, problem-solving, and the drive to build something meaningful.

**Compensation & Growth Path**

**Phase 1 (Researcher, Jan-Apr 2026)**:

- Base: R5,000/month.
- Performance Bonus: R2,500 for each qualified lead that results in an LOI.
- Deal Closing Bonus: R10,000 when acquisition completes.

**Phase 2 (GM, Post-Acquisition)**:

- Base: R8,000-R12,000/month, depending on business size.
- Performance Incentives: Profit-share bonus tied to growth.
- Growth Path: Salary grows as business scales. Future opportunities for equity or long-term profit participation.
