To plan, manage and monitor the implementation of risk activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans in an effective and efficient manner. This will be mainly around financial covenants and any other responsibilities/projects allocated over time.

**Job Description**:
Managing all financial covenants across the portfolio of all clients that have Trade and Working Capital products spanning the full range of Corporate and Investment Banking and Relationship Banking.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

- Executing calculations, monitoring and reporting on all financial covenants:

- Ensuring that solid understanding and management of all approved financial covenants is adopted and maintained
- Ensuring that the approved and agreed financial covenants are recorded in the covenants management system or process
- Ensuring that there is a complete repository of all financial covenants as approved by the various Credit forum or committees.
- Ensuring that these covenants are monitored and reported upon as they fall due or as prescribed or stipulated in the client signed commercial terms
- Where there are breaches, that such breaches are reported to all the relevant stakeholders
- Proactively gather information needed to monitor these financial covenants
- Being a point of reference for all financial covenants including the calculation thereof, the breaches thereof and any issues related to the monitoring function

- Post graduate degree in Finance, Economics or Law or related studies
- Understanding of Trade and Working Capital Banking products
- 5 years of experience in the Financial Statement preparation and/or analysis preferably within Working Capital debt products e.g. Overdrafts

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
