- Technical qualification in electronics/electrical advantageous
- Experience using Zendesk will be advantageous
- Experience with VSD’s (Variable Speed Drives) will be advantageous

**Job description**

We are looking for an experienced support service engineer/technician to join the team at our office in Bellville, to offer telephonic and web support services to our branches, technicians and end users in relation to our products and services being used by them.

Required/recommended qualifications, knowledge and experience:

- Matric / grade 12 (required)
- Fluent spoken and written command of both Afrikaans and English (required)
- Experience in telephonic and web support.
- Experience in remote troubleshooting
- Experience in reading circuit diagrams and panel wiring
- Experience in Excel or Google sheets
- Sober and honest
- Prepared to work overtime and be on rotational standby
- Experience in using a support software suite such as Zendesk

Duties would include (but not be limited to):

- Telephonic and Web support
- Occasional travel to customer sites and branches may be required
- Online monitoring of customer devices for both reactive and proactive maintenance and operation
- Training of colleagues upon return of courses attended to minimise support downtime
- Communicating with branch technicians for outages and repairing of products in the field.
- Setup of customer devices on our web platform

**Salary**: R150,000.00 - R200,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
