This role is for a Junior IT Support Technician to be based between customers’ sites and our office in Bellville, Cape Town. The person will be expected to complete IT maintenance and support tasks. This person will ensure that IT support requests are managed effectively and responded to in a timely manner. The Junior IT Support Technician must be proficient, organized, and passionate about learning new technologies and services. This is a busy role, which may involve occasional out of hours work to meet crucial deadlines or to support events.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the internal ticketing system, ensure tickets are completed in accordance with the appropriate Ad-Hoc & Service Level Agreements.
- Create user accounts, manage permissions and reset passwords
- Monitor responses to requests raised & respond to any queries in a timely manner.
- Support the In-House IT team with basic requests (such as Network Cabling, Setting-Up Printers, Collecting/Delivering Hardware etc.)
- Office 365 accounts setup and administration.
- Desktops & laptops support setup for end users
- Desktop & laptop hardware & software advanced troubleshooting
- Setups for all windows OS’s & MS365 Office software packages
- Installation of network cabling and termination thereof.
- Maintain a high standard, particularly regarding customer communications and response times.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current operating systems and standard software packages, including both Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX
- Complete any other tasks as requested by your manager or a senior member of staff

**Applicant Requirements\qualifications**:

- Minimum 3-Years Experienced IT Technician.
- Driving License is Required.
- Strong Afrikaans & English writing and oral skills.
- Strong communication & listening skills. You must be self-motivated & professional.
- Extensive experience with computers and peripheral hardware servicing and repairs.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft operating systems, including installation and configuration.
- Computing Qualifications A+ & N+ or higher.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, both taking direction from and supporting other colleagues.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R21 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT Technician: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans (preferred)

License/Certification:
