- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in EMS and Accounting in line with IEB standards.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and excellence.
- Set, mark, and moderate assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Evaluate and refine teaching practice through reflection and professional development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, responding to correspondence within 24 hours.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and meetings as required by the Head of Campus.
- Uphold the school’s values and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- A relevant university degree in EMS, Accounting, or a related field.
- SACE certification and the right to work in South Africa.
- Proven experience teaching EMS (Grades 8-9) and Accounting to Grade 12.
- A minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience within the relevant phase.
- Strong familiarity with the IEB curriculum.
- Previous experience in a high-performing or international school environment.
- A passion for teaching and an unwavering commitment to student development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Outstanding planning, organisational, and classroom management abilities.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude to change and innovation.
- A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to professional growth.
- Genuine care for student welfare and enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community.
