**Clinical Quality Assurance (QA) Administrator**

**Contract**: Full-time, permanent

**Location**: Cape Town (hybrid-remote: home-based with **team days ≥2/month** in Cape Town)

**Hours**: 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday

Workability is seeking a **Clinical QA Administrator** to review and quality-assure physiotherapy and occupational therapy **pre-authorisations, assessments, and reports** within our value-based care programmes. You’ll help uphold clinical standards, turnaround times, and reporting accuracy across our network. This role suits a detail-driven clinician who enjoys structured review work and clear outcomes.

**Key responsibilities**
- Review PT/OT **pre-auth requests**, clinical assessments and reports against programme protocols.
- Capture decisions, **flag risks/outliers**, and request clarifications where needed.
- Liaise with clinicians and internal teams to **close loops** and meet turnaround times.
- Support **trend monitoring** (e.g., chronic pain pathways, IOD/COIDA cases) and basic QC logs.
- Maintain accurate digital records in Google Workspace/Office and workflow tools.

**Minimum requirements**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in a healthcare field (e.g., **Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy**) - HPCSA-registered.
- **1-2 years’ clinical experience**, preferably in **vocational rehab/MSK/chronic pain**.
- Understanding of **value-based care**; **IOD/COIDA** exposure advantageous.
- Comfortable working in an **interdisciplinary** context and following protocols.
- **Tech-savvy**: MS Office (strong **Excel**), Google Workspace; confident with digital workflows.
- **Attributes**: critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, concise written & verbal communication, self-directed yet collaborative, calm under pressure, reliable follow-through.

**Remote work requirements**
- **Fast, stable internet** and **load-shedding back-ups** (e.g., UPS/inverter).
- Quiet, professional home workspace.
- Must be **based in Cape Town** for in-person team days (±2x per month).

**Remuneration**
- **R25 000 per month (CTC)**, fixed-term contract.
