**Reporting to: HR Operations Manager and Head of People Culture and Communications**
**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible, with support from the HR team and line managers, for the overall recruitment process, ensuring adherence to procedures, developing assessment tools, and overseeing senior-level recruitment from start to finish.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess organisational needs and develop and deliver comprehensive talent development initiatives and programs, including (but not limited to) leadership development, mentorship, performance management, succession planning, career development, and employee engagement initiatives to engage and retain employees.
- Maximise SETA funding through statutory reporting and driving SETA-funded training initiatives where applicable for the business.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to support their career growth.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs through data analysis and feedback mechanisms and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent development and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance opportunities for employee development.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through talent development programs and practices.
**Qualifications and functional requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Skills Development or a related field (Honours Degree advantageous).
- 5+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or organisational development.
- Strong knowledge and experience with talent management systems and learning management systems.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating talent development programs.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with SETA’s (Construction SETA preferred), facilitating and coordinating discretionary grants learning initiatives and managing mandatory and discretionary SETA grants/funding.
- Strong knowledge and experience creating, managing and submitting WSP and ATR reports.

- Customer service: Effective customer service skills are valuable when interacting with internal and external stakeholders to build rapport and resolve issues efficiently.
- Time management: Juggling multiple responsibilities will be expected. Therefore, prioritising tasks, managing distractions and meeting deadlines are required.
