About the Role

The Company’s marketing department is looking for a highly motivated person to join the marketing team. This position is a Mid-High-level role and will be focused primarily on professionally taking responsibility and coordinating marketing and design functions for the Company, ensuring branding and marketing standards are adhered to within all business units. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role will work with the respective department manager to develop, and execute the annual marketing strategy, and plans to ensure the achievement of our strategic objectives. The role focuses on the development and execution of marketing objectives and plans, which form the backbone of the commercial (Sales) strategy and the ongoing review of activities to ensure continuous improvement. This role requires both leadership and collaboration qualities. The Marketing Design Coordinator will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams that drive the business forward through the development and execution of activities for internal and external stakeholders, as well as customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, formulate the annual marketing strategy and plan for the business to achieve strategic company objectives.
- In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, develop, implement, and oversee the company brand guidelines, corporate identity and design strategy.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of UX & UI research, methodologies, and testing activities.
- Assist with all tasks required to support the timely execution of company marketing, media and digital strategy, campaigns, and plans.
- Be accountable for marketing jobs providing support to AMEA countries.
- Responsible for the origination and amendment of existing and new designs and artwork for all key marketing materials for AMEA countries.
- Oversee design and layout of promotional material for campaigns, including but not limited to data sheets, catalogues, invitations, brochures, adverts posters, and other company publications.
- Manage and oversee all printed and digital materials, including quotes, ordering, delivery, invoice processing, distribution to business units etc.
- Proactively keep up to date with marketplace trends and developments, to advise on market tactics and execution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager & -Coordinator to manage and oversee digital content, tasks and actions according to specific business needs and strategies, including, but not limited to marketing campaign content, graphics, blog posts, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager & -Coordinator to manage and oversee all event-related collateral, e.g. invitations, templates, digital content, promotional material, training requirements etc.
- Manage and oversee all website and intranet content.
- Manage and coordinate design items and tasks in support of Marketing and other Business Unit managers.
- Manage and coordinate design tasks - internal and external.
- Bachelor’s or Honours degree in a related field (Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Brand Management.
- Certified UI & UX practitioner.
- Min. 10 years experience in a senior design, communication, brand management, or marketing role.
- Outstanding design management skills with the ability to upskill and train, whilst working on several concurrent projects and tasks.
- Skilled in marketing, UX & UI and user testing campaigns.
- Proven track record of building world-class user interfaces, aligned with modern web design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of the South African animal health industry, with a specific focus on the marketing landscape.
- Knowledge of and interest in farming, agriculture or veterinary pharmaceuticals would be beneficial.
- Excellent working knowledge of and experience in Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator InDesign/After Effects/Premiere Pro/Acrobat).
- Comfortable with data analyses, heatmaps and user data.
- Excellent understanding of print processes including design templates, preparing files for print and digital campaigns.
- Good working knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Proficiency in and good working knowledge of design and UX tools (Clarity, Moqups, Figma, Convert).
- Good working knowledge and experience in SEO, SEM, and digital reporting.
- Strong English verbal, reading and writing skills, other languages beneficial.
- Strong Self-Starter, Self-initiating and Self-directed.
