**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage the delivery of the academic project on the campus / in the mode of delivery.
Lecture and assess contact and distance learning students in the following qualifications and disciplines/modules.
- Education and Diversity
- Educational Psychology
- Inclusive Education
- School Management
Perform the module coordinator (MC) role and responsibilities.
Compile teaching, learning, and assessment materials.
Use a learning management system independently and/or collaborate to develop and deliver modules.
Participate in a relevant programme, curriculum, and material development.
Carry out allocated internal moderation responsibilities.
Carry out invigilation of venue-based assessments as reasonably required by the Registrar’s Office.
Participate in school-based Teaching Practice assessments.
Provide academic support to students.
Complete all Quality Assurance requirements related to the modules and programmes.
Participate in research and community engagement projects.
Ensure prompt and effective communication with students, colleagues, line managers, and other members of management.
Ensure administrative efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with all policies and SOPs.
Participate in and attend meetings and workshops.
Fulfil functions on relevant committees, and in meetings and workshops as reasonably requested by management.
Fulfill all reasonably expected administrative functions relating to the position and as requested by the relevant line manager
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of teaching and /or lecturing experience in the relevant phase/discipline.
Experience in curriculum and materials development.
Experience in online teaching and learning environments.
Counselling experience of children and/or adults.
An understanding of inclusive education practices would be an advantage
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum Bachelor of Education Honours or equivalent qualification with relevant study in Inclusive Education and Psychology for Foundation and Intermediate Phases.
**Key Attributes**:
Sound teaching and assessment skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
High level of computer proficiency with good knowledge of modern Information Technology infrastructure and online learning platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to cope with change.
Willingness to work when required on Saturdays
