**Job Description**:
We are urgently looking for a self-motivated, target-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills and _their own vehicle _- to take on the key role of **EXTERNAL Sales Rep** - to market the companies engineering, technical hardware, and all types of tools and services - to the manufacturing, wholesale and retail outlets.

**Summary of Role Responsibilities**:

- Visit existing clients, and source new clients by contacting key personnel & making appointments.
- At certain customers, arrange stock and make sure that it is correctly presented for sale
- Negotiate new orders, arrange payment and delivery or collection, and distribute catalogues or other advertisements.
- Develop and update knowledge of both the company and competitors’ products
- Work with other sales and marketing personnel to establish the best methods of promoting products
- Meet sales targets and budgets
- Quote & negotiate prices and credit terms
- Prepare contracts and record orders
- Solve clients needs, negotiate new and replacement orders
- Attend promotional markets and organise product displays
- Carry out formal presentations of products using media and other training aids
- Be involved with tele marketing

**Minimum Requirements for the role**:

- Previous Successful experience in Engineering/Fastener/hardware Sales.
- Ability to analyse market and client base
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have own reliable vehicle
- Must be a self-motivated team player who is able to work without direct supervision
- Must b3e able to clearly present product and service information
- Must be well-presented, with a pleasant disposition and excellent communications skills
- Read and understand, mechanical and electrical blueprints
- Working understanding of network communications technology - Internet, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills.
