Betek Engineering (Pty) Ltd company is seeking for a motivated and personable External sales representative. You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients, promoting our products/ services, and contributing to the growth of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter looking to develop their sales skills and advance their career.

Role Objective:
This entry-level role is crucial in supporting the successful processing, submission and tracking of bids and tenders, ensuring full compliance with all requirements and deadlines. Oversee the entire customer experience, from order placement to delivery as well as aftersales, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Matric plus a relevant certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing Management, Office Management or related field
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in external sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in the sales of mechanical products such as fasteners, gearbox, valves and pumps.
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through research , networking and cold calling.
  • Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospective clients .
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to generate leads and promote our brand.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
