To manage client enquiries and bookings for game lodges in Southern Africa.

The Reservations Consultants are the bush lodge experts.

Each reservations consultant is responsible for managing their own client bookings. This process starts with the receipt of the enquiry, to consulting with the client, through to making the booking and generating the invoice.

**Consulting and quoting**
- Providing expert advice on the lodges in order to assist the clients with their choice of lodge
- To ensure that the properties have availability before quoting
- Generate a quote on Tourplan using the best possible rate for the client
- To following the established processes on Tourplan.

**Sales**
- Striving to achieve the monthly sales target
- Converting enquiries into bookings
- Upselling where possible
- Generating all invoices and ensuring payment is received before giving the client travel documnents.

**Client service**
- Providing exceptionally high service
- Building relationships with clients
- Staying abreast of lodge updates and rates specials

**Technology**
- Effective adoption of Tourplan Technology

**Required**:

- A diploma in travel or a related field
- Preferably a degree in business or a travel related field.

**Required**:

- Extensive knowledge of the bush lodges in South Africa
- Knowledge of the bush lodges in Southern Africa
- Knowledge of travel in South Africa and the travel industry
- Extensive knowledge of Private and National Parks in South Africa
- General knowledge of wildlife
- Extensive knowledge of Tourplan
- A good understanding of the different rates structures

**Required**:

- 5 years plus experience in the Bush Lodge industry, travel or In-Bound Travel
