To drive improvements in customer performance through in-depth data analysis, optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand, and ensuring the availability of stock across the supply chain. The role bridges customer relationship management with data-driven decision making and supply planning.
**Customer Performance Management & Relationship Management**
- Monitor and analyse customer performance metrics (e.g., order fill rate, on-time delivery, returns, forecast accuracy).
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular reviews with key account managers to share performance insights and drive improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as fill rate, lead times, backorders, and returns.
- Work closely with sales teams, planning team, and branches to address customer concerns and exceed service expectations.
**Data Analysis & Insights**
- Analyse sales trends, customer buying behaviour, and supply chain data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to visualize performance data and drive actionable insights.
- Present data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers to improve service levels and satisfaction.
**Inventory & Supply Coordination**
- Reduce inventory discrepancies by partnering with planning and operations, to ensure end-to-end visibility on customer needs and inventory status
- Monitor supply chain KPIs relevant to customer service (e.g., lead times, safety stock coverage, availability rates).

Grade 12
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field
2-3 years of experience in sales operations
1 Year of experience in wholesale, distribution, or B2B sales administration
Understanding of order processing and customer account management
Familiarity with inventory systems and stock management processes
Experience with wholesale/distribution software for data entry and reporting
