Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization - Take a leading position in developing a strategy and plan for paid Search, Shopping and Display channels across all adidas South Africa - Constant improvement of measuring methodologies to reach accurate ROI of paid Search, Shopping and Display campaigns - Ensuring successful achievement and maximization of ROI targets across various channels and campaigns for South Africa for Paid Search, Shopping and Display channels - Regularly optimize campaigns based on product, ad copy, targeting techniques, keywords, campaign structure, landing pages, and general messaging - Create regular reports showing campaign ROI and changes to ROI over time - Work with the Creative partners to develop effective creative communication for campaigns - Identify and test new and innovative growth opportunities to deliver CPA/ROI goals in our market - Stay abreast of industry trends across Search, Shopping and Display - Manage performance metrics and budget tracking while ensuring benchmarks are established, lessons are learnt, and growth opportunities capitalized - Developing or implementing remarketing strategies across Search, Shopping and Display channels for South Africa - Analyze monthly Share of Search reports and take out actionable inferences - Doing and sharing monthly account audit for each channel across marketing - Build strong relationship with EM and DBC counterparts to drive cluster performance for Paid Search, Shopping and Display - Skills & Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Paid Search and Shopping for Google Ads. Should have fair understanding and working experience on Display (GDN) and remarketing campaigns. - 3+ years of experience in SA360 and Apple Search Ads - Experience in Campaign Optimization (Generating decisions, scaling up campaigns, etc.). - Proven experience driving a positive ROI "Return on Investment" from paid traffic with 3+ years of experience with Google AdWords and other paid channels - Experience in growth strategies and media planning, Search Uplift and Share of Search understanding - Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level paid search accounts by supporting from media planning to execution - Expert in Google Search, Shopping, Discovery, Microsoft Search, Apple Search Ads, YouTube, and Hyperlocal/Store Traffic/Sale campaign - Strong hold on creating & implementing Search, Shopping, Video, and Store Ads and build data-driven strategies to deliver consistent growth - Core understanding of conversions tracking and attribution modeling including pixel/tags creations, conversion setting, look back window, and custom variables - Experience working with scripts, automation solutions, and various ad personalization - Expert understanding of third-party web tracking tools like, [Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.) - Strong presentation skills and demonstrated stakeholder relationships capabilities - Strong working understanding of search management platforms and bidding tools like Trueclicks, Optmyzr, Kenshoo, Marin, etc. - Good command over Google analytics, search, ad campaigns & optimizations. - SEO understanding and knowledge of best practices on Google is highly preferred - Provide periodical performance reports and present improvement plans. - Optimize targeting according to changing search trends & handle client escalations. - Strong PPT and Excel skills as well as data analysis & problem-solving abilities. - Detailed understanding of marketing concepts & brand communications. - A strong understanding of how to optimize campaigns; ability to separate the most effective strategies from the noise - Experience meeting deadlines - Willingness and ability to learn new software tools - Self-starter with a passion and ability to work “hands on” as well as lead team members - Ability to build effective relationships with individuals across all levels of an organization - Agile and able to adapt quickly, operating in a high growth business - A love of thinking outside the box and developing innovative solutions - Strong communication skills written & oral and ability to quickly build strong relationships - Education - Bachelor or master’s degree required, with 3+ years relevant digital marketing experience especially in Paid Search. (Agency or client side) - Experience in forecasting, planning & managing large budgets split across multiple channels, markets, and campaigns - A deep understanding of audience management, analytics, reporting and optimization - Understanding attribution modelling is valuable - High attention to detail; strong analytical skills and excellent organizational & planning abilities - Proficient in written & spoken English - DCO knowledge will be beneficial - KPIs - Paid Search revenue and cost of sale target (ROI/ROAS effectiveness and efficiency) - Audience Management efficacy for Paid Search - Marketing Working Budget allocation and phasing - Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly planning and bud
